Angeles women councilors honored at 3rd Philippine LEAF Awards

Women councilors of Angeles City were recognized at the 3rd Philippine LEAF Awards for their advocacy-driven program “HERStories,” which promotes women empowerment, awareness, and inspiration within the community.

Honored during the awarding ceremony were Jeselle Ann Vega Dayrit, Maricel Morales Agoncillo, Michelle Bonifacio, and Joan Crystal Aguas.

The program “HERStories” received the Outstanding Advocacy-Driven Performance award in recognition of its meaningful initiatives highlighting the contributions, voices, and capabilities of women.

The recognition reflects the city’s continued efforts to support programs that inspire and empower women while strengthening community engagement.

The awardees also expressed gratitude to Carmelo Lazatin II, Amos Rivera, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod for their continued support for programs focused on the welfare and empowerment of Angeleños.

Angeles City continues to take pride in leaders and initiatives that bring inspiration and honor to the city.
