Arayat Mayor Jeffrey Luriz congratulated Danilo V. Cunanan for being named the National Winner in the Outstanding Corn-Based Farmer category, describing the achievement as a source of pride and inspiration for the municipality.

Luriz lauded Cunanan’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to agriculture, saying his success reflects the excellence of Arayateño farmers and highlights the town’s contributions to the country’s agricultural sector.

The mayor also commended the Department of Agriculture–Arayat, led by Engr. Rodel Lising, for its continued support to local farmers. He said the recognition was made possible through the collective efforts of the local agriculture office and the farming community in promoting agricultural development.

Luriz expressed hope that Cunanan’s achievement would inspire more farmers to pursue excellence and continue contributing to food security and the progress of Arayat.
