BCDA, Pag-IBIG Fund partner on Housing Projects in BCDA Properties

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and Pag-IBIG Fund have forged a partnership to develop housing and other projects in BCDA properties, supporting efforts to expand access to quality and affordable homes for Filipino families.

BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang and Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta signed the memorandum of agreement (MOA), witnessed by Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling.

The initial agreement covers approximately 14 hectares in New Clark City, with Camp John Hay, Morong Discovery Park, and the Poro Point Freeport Zone identified as potential sites for succeeding housing and development projects.

The partnership supports the Marcos administration’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, which seeks to widen access to quality, affordable and sustainable housing for Filipino families.

Also present during the signing were Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy CEO Alexander Hilario G. Aguilar and BCDA Executive Vice President and COO Gisela Z. Kalalo, who signed as witnesses.

The collaboration underscores the agencies’ shared goal of turning BCDA properties into opportunities for more Filipinos to access decent and affordable housing.
