The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) extended emergency assistance to communities in Bataan affected by the recent heavy monsoon rains, reaffirming its commitment to supporting local government partners and communities during times of need.

On September 2, 2026, the BCDA turned over 100 sacks of rice to the Provincial Government of Bataan to help augment relief assistance for affected families.

The relief initiative was led by BCDA OIC-Senior Vice President Mark P. Torres and Vice President for Land and Assets Development Richard Brian M. Cepe.

The assistance forms part of BCDA’s continuing efforts to provide timely support to communities affected by natural hazards while strengthening coordination and partnerships with local governments in emergency response.
