These stories took center stage at the BDO Fiesta in Pampanga, which brought together Kapampangans whose dreams and financial milestones have grown alongside their partnership with BDO.
Among them is entrepreneur Belmir Gonzalez, whose journey started with a simple savings account. Over the years, she ventured into investments, embraced digital banking, and eventually saved enough to start the business she had long dreamed of.
“Because of BDO, I was able to save up for the business that I’ve always wanted,” Gonzalez said.
For beauty entrepreneur Caren Balingit, her financial journey helped turn a long-held dream into reality. After financing a lot, she eventually secured a home loan that enabled her to build a house for her family.
“Because of BDO, I was able to have my dream house,” Balingit shared.
Physician Dr. Abegail Lacson, meanwhile, found herself becoming the family’s primary breadwinner after losing her father shortly after she passed the medical board exams. The responsibility pushed her to become more financially disciplined and make wiser decisions with her money.
“Because of BDO, I was able to fulfill that role. I became wiser with my money,” Lacson said.
BDO’s Credit-to-Cash facility also helped her manage major expenses, including the installation of solar panels at home, without depleting her available cash.
For Jennifer Ayson, a modest trucking venture with her husband grew into a 15-truck operation through financing support. The business has since expanded to include heavy equipment while helping provide for the education of their seven children.
“Truck namin nasa 15 units na. BDO ang nag-finance. I-accommodate ka nila every step of the way,” Ayson said.
Their stories may be different, but they reflect a common journey: financial goals grow and evolve as people’s lives change.
