The Bureau of Customs–Port of Clark planted more than 150 trees in vulnerable areas in Porac, Pampanga, as part of its efforts to support reforestation and environmental rehabilitation.

Conducted in coordination with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of Angeles City, the activity included planting coffee, guyabano, mango, and other fruit-bearing trees that are expected to provide long-term environmental and livelihood benefits to nearby communities.

The initiative forms part of the Bureau’s Customs Social Responsibility (CSR) program and supports Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno’s directive to give back to communities through meaningful and sustainable projects.

District Collector Jairus S. Reyes emphasized the importance of collective action in protecting the environment and creating a positive impact for future generations.

Through initiatives like the tree-planting activity, the BOC–Port of Clark continues to promote environmental stewardship and community service beyond its customs operations.
