President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the inauguration of the Department of Health–Jose B. Lingad Children’s Medical Center (DOH-JBL CMC) in Pampanga, the first phase of the Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center.
The new 111-bed children’s hospital is expected to expand access to specialized pediatric healthcare for patients from Regions I, II, III, and nearby areas.
Starting August 1, 2026, the facility will provide quality pediatric care alongside the implementation of the Zero Balance Billing (ZBB) policy, ensuring that eligible children can receive necessary medical treatment without being denied care due to financial constraints.
The government continues to develop regional specialty hospitals to bring quality and affordable healthcare closer to Filipino families and give children greater opportunities for healthier and more hopeful futures.
