The Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark recently conducted a coordination meeting with the Bureau of Internal Revenue – District Office Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone to discuss and clarify provisions of Republic Act No. 12066, also known as the CREATE MORE Act, particularly on the value-added tax (VAT) treatment of local sales.

The meeting aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination and ensure the proper understanding and implementation of tax and customs regulations affecting stakeholders within the Clark Freeport Zone.
