BSP adjusts work hours to support energy efficiency drive

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has implemented adjusted onsite operating hours in select offices as part of the government’s efforts to reduce energy consumption.

Under the new setup, critical BSP offices will continue to provide onsite public services from Monday to Friday. Meanwhile, non-frontline offices will adopt work-from-home arrangements every Monday and Friday.

Check-clearing transactions at BSP Manila will be processed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Onsite transactions related to BSP-acquired real properties, as well as the receipt of physical mail and documents, will continue at the BSP Hub in Manila from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., also from Monday to Friday.

Tellering services at BSP Manila, the Security Plant Complex in Quezon City, and BSP regional offices and branches nationwide will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday.

The BSP also assured the public that its digital services will remain accessible. The BSP Online Buddy (BOB) chatbot will continue to receive financial consumer complaints 24/7 through the BSP website, Facebook Messenger, and mobile app. Complaints may also be sent via email to consumeraffairs@bsp.gov.ph.

BSP-supervised financial and non-bank institutions—including pawnshops, non-stock savings and loan associations, money changers, and remittance agents—may continue submitting documents electronically through fssmail@bsp.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, the BSP Store will remain available online for the purchase of commemorative coins and other merchandise.
