The City College of Angeles (CCA) has strengthened its campus security measures with the deployment of new handheld metal detectors as it welcomes the opening of Academic Year 2026–2027 on July 13.
The initiative aims to enhance safety protocols at campus entry points through efficient inspections to help protect students, employees, and visitors.
CCA said the additional security equipment reflects its commitment to maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment while promoting shared responsibility among members of the college community.
The institution emphasized that continued investments in preventive measures are part of its efforts to ensure that every Angeleño can learn and thrive in a secure campus environment.
