The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA RFO III) is strengthening the onion sector in Central Luzon through the formation of an alliance of farmers’ cooperatives and associations operating onion cold storage facilities.

The gathering of beneficiaries of onion storage facilities is being held in Angeles City, Pampanga, led by the DA RFO III through its High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) and Agricultural and Fisheries Logistics Office (AFLO).

The initiative aims to strengthen coordination and cooperation among farmers’ groups and improve the management and operations of cold storage facilities across the region.
