Cong Pogi continues annual tradition of Brigada Eskwela

Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. continued his annual Brigada Eskwela tradition by distributing school repair materials to 68 public schools in Angeles City on June 1, 2026.

Funded from his personal resources, the donation included 680 sacks of cement, 136 liters of paint, and 272 paint brushes. Each school received 10 sacks of cement, two liters of paint, and four paint brushes to help prepare classrooms and facilities for the opening of classes.

School officials expressed gratitude for the assistance, noting that the donations would help create safer and more conducive learning environments for students.

Malabanias Barangay Captain Luz Nava also thanked Lazatin for providing construction materials to three public schools in the barangay. She added that the congressman also donated anti-dengue fumigation supplies, which barangay personnel will use before classes begin.

Lazatin is also scheduled to participate in Brigada Eskwela activities in Mabalacat City and Magalang this year, where 96 public schools are set to receive a combined 960 sacks of cement, 192 liters of paint, and 384 paint brushes.

The congressman has consistently joined Brigada Eskwela since first serving as an Angeles City councilor in 2013.
