Converge tops DICT Q2 Network Performance Report

Philippine fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. led the country in fixed broadband performance in the second quarter of 2026, according to the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) latest Oplan Bantay Signal report.

Converge recorded the fastest download speed at 158 Mbps, the lowest average latency at five milliseconds, and best-in-class network quality with symmetric upload speeds. The company also reported an 84% drop in customer complaints from January to June.

DICT Secretary Henry Aguda said the sharp decline in complaints reflected Converge’s efforts to address customer concerns and improve its network.

No Converge-served area was classified as a “crisis city” during the quarter, although three cities with average speeds between 15 Mbps and 30 Mbps were identified for further improvement.

The company said the results reflect continued investments in network expansion and service quality. As of May 2026, Converge’s last-mile fiber network had grown to more than 960,000 fiber kilometers.
