The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pampanga has recognized three municipalities in the province for their strong performance in the 2026 Fisheries Compliance Audit.

The awardees are:

• Lubao
• Macabebe
• Sasmuan

The recognition highlights their commitment to strengthening fisheries governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting Pampanga’s valuable aquatic resources.

The DILG Pampanga said the achievement reflects effective local governance in sustaining fisheries programs and environmental protection efforts, and encouraged other local government units to continue advancing innovation and excellence in resource management.
