DSWD launches digital food aid payout

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office III has rolled out its hybrid digital payout system for food assistance in Pampanga,

During a payout at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, 3,446 beneficiaries received ₱3,000 worth of food assistance each under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program. A total of 4,160 beneficiaries were targeted, with 714 tagged as non-payouts due to non-appearance or the use of representatives.

Implemented in partnership with TopJuan Tech Corp., the system automates data processing and report generation to ensure faster and more accurate payouts.

DSWD Regional Director Venus F. Rebuldela said the initiative strengthens the department’s commitment to providing timely and responsive assistance to individuals and families in crisis. She added that the hybrid digital payout system, first introduced in Central Luzon, is now being adopted by other DSWD field offices nationwide.
