The first mall-based YAKAP Clinic in Central Luzon was formally launched on May 1, coinciding with Labor Day, at Newpoint Mall.
The initiative, led by PhilHealth, aims to bring healthcare services closer to the public by making them more accessible through a convenient mall location.
Featured during the launch was Soliman Paroli Eye Center, the first YAKAP-accredited facility in the region to operate within a mall. The clinic offers services such as health screening, consultations, laboratory tests, and access to medicines in a more convenient setting.
PhilHealth’s YAKAP Program seeks to expand access to affordable healthcare while strengthening preventive and primary care services in communities.
The public is encouraged to visit Soliman Paroli Eye Center, located on the second floor of Newpoint Mall, to avail of the program’s benefits as part of ongoing efforts to provide more accessible healthcare services to Filipinos.
