Former President and now Pampanga 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo led the ceremonial lighting of the Pampanga parol as the Likha ng Central Luzon 2026 trade fair opened, showcasing the creativity, innovation and world-class products of the region’s creative industries.

The trade fair brings together 151 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across Central Luzon, giving local entrepreneurs an avenue to showcase their products and expand their reach to wider markets, including international buyers.

The event highlights the continued growth of the region’s creative industry and the efforts to strengthen local enterprises through programs such as One Town, One Product (OTOP).

Organizers said the trade fair provides participating MSMEs with opportunities to promote their locally made products, build market linkages and explore new business opportunities.

Arroyo’s ceremonial lighting of the Pampanga parol added a distinctly local touch to the opening, highlighting the province’s rich tradition of craftsmanship and creativity.

The event also underscored the potential of Central Luzon’s homegrown products to compete in broader domestic and global markets.
