A victim was recovered from Quadrant 3 of the collapsed structure in Barangay Balibago on Friday evening, according to a report submitted by the Unified Command to Responsible Official and Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II.

The recovered individual was recorded as Casualty No. 28 and was extricated at approximately 9:56 p.m.

Following the recovery, the remains were turned over to the appropriate authorities for proper handling, documentation, and identification procedures in coordination with concerned agencies.

Clearing, retrieval, and recovery operations continue at Ground Zero under the supervision of the Unified Command as responders remain committed to completing the ongoing mission.
