Faith, art and Marian devotion took center stage today as Museo Ning Angeles opened the 5th Indung Alang Musing Marian Exhibit, bringing together revered images of the Blessed Virgin Mary in a celebration that forms part of the city’s Triple Fiesta.

Running until September 27, 2026, the exhibit carries the theme “Indung Maria: Carinan ning Capayapan, Casngauan king Yatung Misalunan” (Mother Mary: Sanctuary of Peace, Comfort to a Wounded World), paying tribute to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, patroness and protector of Angeles City.

The opening featured an Opening Ceremony, Marian Talk and Grand Concert, gathering devotees, pilgrims, artists and members of the community in an evening of faith and celebration.

More than an exhibition of sacred art, Indung Alang Musing seeks to provide a space for prayer, reflection, catechesis and renewed Marian devotion. It highlights the Church’s tradition of honoring Mary and its mission of evangelization through sacred art and popular piety.

The Marian images on display are presented not simply as works of art, but as visual expressions of faith that point the faithful toward Jesus Christ. Through Mary as Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, Comforter of the Afflicted and Mother of Peace, visitors are invited to reflect on her maternal presence and seek her intercession amid the struggles of a wounded world.

Organized by Museo Ning Angeles and Kuliat Foundation, Inc., the exhibit envisions Marian art as a means of deepening devotion, appreciating the Church’s sacred traditions and inspiring the faithful to live out Mary’s example.
