JBM Patrol System posts early gains

The Joint Police and Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams Mobilization Toward Crime Prevention and Detection in Central Luzon (JBM Patrol System) of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has recorded significant accomplishments during its first week of implementation.

Launched on August 14, 2026, the initiative strengthened police-community coordination across Central Luzon, resulting in 39 arrests in anti-drug operations and the seizure of an estimated ₱890,701 worth of illegal drugs from August 15 to 22.

PRO3 also accounted for 75 loose firearms through confiscation, surrender, and safekeeping, with eight arrests made. The Safer Cities initiative likewise addressed 85,879 ordinance violators, including 12,624 fined and 73,255 warned or released, generating more than ₱5.5 million in fines.

Meanwhile, 81 wanted persons were arrested, including 19 Most Wanted Persons, while 51 individuals were apprehended in illegal gambling operations, with ₱22,807 in bet money confiscated.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez said the early results showed the value of stronger police-community partnerships at the barangay level.

The regional police office said it will continue expanding the JBM Patrol System across Central Luzon to strengthen crime prevention, public safety, and responsive police service.
