Hundreds of job seekers benefited from a job fair and caravan of services held on June 11 at the Bulwagang KanLahi in Diwa ng Tarlac as part of the province’s celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day.

Around 20 local companies and three overseas employers participated in the job fair, with several applicants hired on the spot.

The event also featured free services and consultations from 16 national government agencies, including Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, OWWA, TESDA, the Department of Agriculture, and the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

A trade fair showcasing products from micro, small, and medium enterprises was likewise held during the one-day activity.

The initiative was spearheaded by Governor Christian Tell Yap in partnership with Vice Governor Estelita Aquino and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
