Magalang LGU boosts police, disaster response and cleanliness services

The local government of Magalang formally blessed its new Mobile Police Command Post, two dump trucks, and one mini dump truck on Monday as part of continuing efforts to strengthen peace and order, disaster response, and sanitation services in the municipality.

The Mobile Police Command Post will serve as the first mobile police office in Central Luzon and is expected to be utilized during police operations, checkpoints, and major public gatherings to bring law enforcement services closer to the community.

Meanwhile, the newly acquired dump trucks and mini dump truck are expected to improve waste collection operations, environmental cleanup efforts, and emergency response during disasters and other incidents.

Mayor Malu Lacson said the acquisition of the new vehicles reflects the municipality’s commitment under the MALUgud Governance Framework to implement programs that promote a safer, cleaner, and more organized Magalang for all Magaleños.
