The local government of Masantol planted 840 bamboo seedlings in Calatio, San Isidro Anac, as part of the celebration of Buwan ng Kooperatiba on October 27, 2026.

The Municipal Cooperative Development Office led the bamboo planting activity in partnership with Damayan Transport Cooperative and Pampanga Coastal Fishers Agricultural Cooperative.

The initiative, supported by the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), MAFSO, and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), aims to promote environmental protection and help strengthen riverbanks against erosion.
