Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque inspected the newly completed 560-meter concrete irrigation canal in Barangay Sto. Rosario on Thursday, July 2.

Funded by the Provincial Government of Pampanga with ₱3.97 million, the project was undertaken in response to the request of the Ilog Mae Bao Farmers Association in 2024.

The new irrigation canal is expected to provide a more reliable water supply to about 100 hectares of farmland, enabling faster water distribution while reducing farmers’ diesel consumption and irrigation costs.

Joining the inspection were Board Member Kaye Naguit, Vice Mayor Thelma Macapagal, municipal and barangay officials, and representatives of the Ilog Mae Bao Farmers Association.
