The colors, flavors, craftsmanship and enterprise of Nueva Vizcaya have arrived in Angeles City as the “NVyond Borders: Pampanga – A Lako ti Vizcayano Trade Fair” officially opened on September 21 at the Event Center of Marquee Mall.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Nueva Vizcaya, the trade fair brings together farmers, artisans, food producers and entrepreneurs to showcase their products and connect with consumers beyond the province.
The opening ceremony gathered DTI officials from Regions 2 and 3, Nueva Vizcaya provincial officials, exhibitors and guests. Among those who shared messages were DTI Region 3 Regional Director Edna D. Dizon, DTI Region 2 Nueva Vizcaya OIC Provincial Director Lenore Lee S. Lopez, DTI Region 2 OIC Business Development Chief Mark C. Ponce, DTI Region 2 Regional Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, CESO V, and Nueva Vizcaya Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito.
Congressman Timothy Joseph E. Cayton of Nueva Vizcaya delivered the keynote address as guest of honor, while Nueva Vizcaya Vice Governor Eufemia A. Dacayo gave the closing remarks.
Adding energy and local flavor to the opening was a cultural presentation by Saint Mary’s University, which included the NVyond Borders theme song and a unity dance. The presentation underscored the event’s message of bringing communities together through culture, enterprise and shared opportunities.
The trade fair, held with the support of the Angeles City Government led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II, goes beyond product display. It highlights the stories behind every item—from farmers who grow the province’s produce and artisans who preserve traditional skills to MSMEs working to bring their products to wider markets.
Visitors can discover a range of vegetables, fruits, food products, handicrafts and other locally made goods, each reflecting the skills, creativity and heritage of Vizcayanos.
Angeleños and Cabalens are encouraged to visit the fair, meet the exhibitors, discover their products and support the farmers, artisans and MSMEs whose livelihoods are sustained by every purchase.
The NVyond Borders trade fair runs until September 26, 2026, at the Marquee Mall Event Center in Angeles City.
