President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with key sports leaders in Malacañang to discuss the country’s bid to host the 2028 Asian Beach Games in Cebu.

Joining the courtesy call were Philippine Sports Commission Chair Patrick ‘Pato’ Gregorio, Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham ‘Bembol’ Tolentino, Olympic Council of Asia President Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani.

The meeting underscores the Philippines’ strong push to host the prestigious sporting event in Cebu, positioning the country as a premier destination for international competitions while boosting tourism and sports development.
