PHS Alumni give back, provide safe drinking water

Pampanga High School (PHS) received a new drinking fountain donated by PHS Batch 1993 alumni Daniel J. Haurey Jr. and Michelle Viray Morales, who are based in New Jersey, USA.

The donation, turned over on August 4, 2026, at the PHS DG Oval, aims to provide learners with safe, clean, and accessible drinking water and support the school’s efforts to promote health and well-being.

School Principal Marilen A. Calma formally accepted the donation and expressed appreciation to the alumni, noting that the drinking fountain will particularly benefit learners under the Special Needs Education (SNED) Program.

The turnover also included the signing of Adopt-A-School Program donation documents and an inspirational message highlighting the importance of giving back to one’s alma mater. The event was attended by SNED learners, teachers, and school officials, and concluded with a dance presentation by SNED students.

The initiative reflects the enduring bond between PHS and its alumni and their continued commitment to creating a healthier and more learner-friendly school environment.
