Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) is strengthening its environmental stewardship efforts in host communities through coastal cleanups, tree planting, and responsible waste management initiatives.

As part of the annual International Coastal Cleanup on September 19, PWS helped remove 3,264 kilograms of waste from coastal areas in its host communities, contributing to efforts to reduce marine debris and raise awareness about plastic pollution.

PWS employees from Porac volunteered in the cleanup in Bataan, while the company supported the activity in Barangay Bacayan, Cebu through waste hauling and transport services.

Earlier, on September 15, nearly 100 employees, residents, students, and community stakeholders planted 1,400 seedlings at the PWS-Pampanga project site in Barangay Planas, Porac, Pampanga.

The activity, conducted under the Prime Kalikasan tree-planting program, included 700 Ylang-Ylang and 700 Narra seedlings to support reforestation in development areas and surrounding communities.

PWS operates an integrated waste management facility in Porac that currently receives and manages more than 2,000 tons of waste daily. Its semi-automated system uses advanced equipment to segregate waste and recover recyclables for waste value-creation activities, including the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF).

Through these initiatives, PWS continues to engage employees and communities in practical efforts promoting conservation, responsible waste management, and long-term sustainability.
