Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez joined Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juanito Victor C. Remulla Jr. in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill held Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Carlos F. Gonzales High School in San Rafael, Bulacan.

The activity underscored the importance of preparedness, coordination, and timely response during emergencies to ensure the safety of students, teachers, school personnel, and surrounding communities.

It also strengthened collaboration among government agencies, local authorities, school officials, teachers, students, and other stakeholders in promoting a culture of readiness and shared responsibility during disasters and other emergencies.

In support of Chief, Philippine National Police (PNP) PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.’s leadership thrust of delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman,” Mendez reaffirmed PRO3’s commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness, school safety, and responsive police service across Central Luzon.
