The Public Transportation and Regulatory Office (PTRO) conducted a consultative meeting and public forum with the Federation of Tricycle Drivers and Operators (FEDTODA), in coordination with City Council Committee on Transportation Chairman Raco Del Rosario.

The meeting aimed to strengthen communication between the local government and the transport sector to ensure the effective implementation of policies and services for public transportation in the city.
During the session, key provisions of a proposed ordinance from the 20th City Council concerning transportation operations in Angeles City were discussed. The PTRO also explained its functions and mandate to help FEDTODA members better understand proper procedures and regulations.
City initiatives under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II were also presented, including the digitalization of PTRO processes to improve efficiency and the provision of free drug testing for TODA members at ACADAC as part of the city’s safety and wellness programs.
The city government reiterated its commitment to maintaining open and respectful engagement with various sectors to ensure a fair, safe, and people-centered public transportation system for all Angeleños.
