Senior citizens from several barangays in Arayat received financial assistance as part of the local government’s ongoing social welfare program.

The distribution covered beneficiaries from Candating, Batasan, Suclayin, and Camba, and was led by Mayor Jeffrey Luriz, together with Vice Mayor Monching Changcoco and councilors Edith Kabigting, Dr. Kabigting, and Dong Alejandrino.

The program aims to extend support to elderly residents in recognition of their contributions to the community, with the financial aid intended to help cover daily needs, particularly healthcare and livelihood expenses.

In his message, Mayor Luriz emphasized the importance of caring for and respecting senior citizens, describing them as pillars of the municipality. Local officials also reaffirmed their commitment to continue programs that promote the welfare of all residents in Arayat.

The initiative underscores the local government’s continuing efforts to ensure inclusive assistance, particularly for the town’s elderly population.
