Amid the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Pogi continues to push for programs that will prioritize the health and welfare of Angelenos kids, especially when it comes to providing proper nutrition to the marginalized sector.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. said on November 17 that the City College of Angeles will soon implement a hybrid methodology of learning, or the combination of traditional classroom instruction and online learning activities. This is to accommodate the tremendous growth in the number of students applying at the city college.

The Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., will begin giving anti-COVID-19 booster shots to fully vaccinated healthcare workers on November 25, 2021 . This was revealed by Mayor Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, also the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program.

Mayor Lazatin said the continuous drop in COVID-19 cases was possible through the hard work and dedication of the 400 working staff in the vaccination team headed by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program, and all the medical frontliners battling COVID-19.
