Marcos Jr. led on Monday, March 27, the inauguration ceremony of the first section of the NLEX Connector, a five-kilometer elevated expressway, expected to improve mobility in Metro Manila and seen to further push more economic development opportunities in north and south Luzon.
The first five kilometer section of NLEX Connector between Caloocan and España interchanges has achieved substantial completion and is scheduled for opening within the month.
The Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), operator of CCLEX, CAVITEX, CALAX, NLEX, NLEX Connector, and SCTEX) and MPT Mobility have concluded their Download, Drive, and Win! promo as of the end of January 2023. A massive uptick in downloads as a result of the promo has expanded their user base past targets, allowing the MPT DriveHub app to integrate seamlessly into the driving experience of the Philippine metropolitan.
