Tarlac Governor Christian Yap attended a situation briefing with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and fellow Central Luzon governors to discuss the condition of their respective provinces and the impact of the enhanced southwest monsoon, or Habagat.

Yap said the meeting focused on the needs of families affected by flooding, including those displaced from their homes and requiring immediate assistance.

He also emphasized the importance of sustained coordination among Central Luzon provinces, the national government and partner agencies to ensure a faster response to affected communities.
