Governor Christian Yap welcomed officials of the Philippine Retirement Authority for the signing of the CARE Connect Partnership Memorandum of Agreement, a move aimed at enhancing programs, services, and opportunities for foreign retirees in the province.
The PRA delegation was led by Roberto Z. Zozobrado, along with other agency officials. Also present was Lawrence D. Munnick, an American retiree who has chosen Tarlac City as his home under the Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) program.
Yap said the partnership reflects the province’s growing recognition as a preferred retirement destination. He noted that the SRRV program also opens opportunities for foreign retirees to invest in the local economy, helping spur development and create opportunities for Tarlaqueños.
The governor likewise invited more retirees to consider Tarlac as their retirement home, highlighting the province’s commitment to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for foreign residents.
