The rescued pet dog belonging to a foreman from the incident area in Balibago is now under the care of the Angeles City Dog Pound and Animal Shelter Compound.

According to the City Veterinary Office, the dog was immediately brought under veterinary care to ensure its safety and proper condition after being trapped in the area for several days. It is now in a secure facility and is being closely monitored by veterinary personnel.

City Veterinarian Mario Samson Jr. assured that the dog is receiving adequate care, including appropriate nutrition such as wet food suited to its condition, along with vitamins and continuous monitoring to support its recovery.

Authorities said the intervention aims to ensure the full recovery and welfare of the rescued animal.
