Alternergy Holdings Corporation has reached another major step in advancing renewable energy as its 28-megawatt peak (MWp) Hermosa Solar Power Plant in Bataan successfully achieved energization, signaling the start of its testing and commissioning phase.

This stage ensures that the facility complies with operational and safety standards before its full integration into the national power grid.

Located in Hermosa, Bataan, the solar plant forms part of Alternergy’s expanding clean energy portfolio designed to help the Philippines shift toward sustainable and low-carbon power sources.

Once fully operational, the Hermosa Solar Power Plant is expected to deliver clean electricity to thousands of households and businesses, cutting carbon emissions and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
