Actor and entrepreneur Alden Richards is the newest face of BDO’s digital innovations, highlighting how the bank blends personal and online services to give clients more convenience.
In his latest video with BDO, Richards is seen helping a customer complete a long list of banking errands by introducing them to the bank’s digital tools, such as the Universal Teller Machine (UTM), Service Assist Machine (SAM), and the Account Assist Kiosk.
The UTM goes beyond the traditional ATM, allowing transactions such as check deposits and passbook updates, with options for QR code and biometric access. Meanwhile, SAM lets clients skip manual forms by encoding transaction details digitally and securing a queue number. The Account Assist Kiosk further streamlines account opening and loan or credit card applications with biometrics for identity verification.
“For me, banking is about safety and trust. I feel safe with BDO because they’ve been here for 50 years. They’ve always been the right partner for me,” Richards shared, noting that most of his transactions are now digital as he rarely carries cash.
Richards also emphasized that while BDO continues to enhance its digital universe, clients can still rely on in-branch assistance and expert financial advice through BDO Connect product specialists.
A loyal BDO client for over a decade, Richards highlighted the value of having both options: “BDO offers different ways to grow your savings—whether digital or personal. May guidance talaga para hindi masayang ang pera mo.”
BDO encourages clients to plan ahead like Richards by booking branch appointments via www.bdo.com.ph/book-your-visit or to open accounts online anytime at www.bdo.com.ph/apply.
With BDO, banking is made flexible— digital when you want it, personal when you need it.
