The City College of Angeles (CCA) proudly celebrates the achievements of Aries Resultay Galang, a 2017 Bachelor of Physical Education graduate who continues to bring pride to his alma mater and the Filipino community abroad.

Galang was recognized by the Filipino International Teachers’ Society (FITS) as one of the Outstanding Filipino Educators in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for 2025, honoring his dedication, professionalism, and exceptional service in the field of education.

In the same year, he was also named among the Inspiring Overseas Filipinos in the UAE at the Gawad Pinoy 2025, held during the 127th Philippine Independence Day Celebration at the Dubai World Trade Center. The award celebrates his positive influence and contributions to the Filipino community overseas.

Before his success abroad, Galang was an active student leader and performer at CCA. He served as President of the Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe and was a finalist for the Matenakang Anak ning Santungan ning Kabiasnan (Outstanding Student Award) for Performing Arts—recognitions that reflected his creativity, discipline, and passion for Filipino culture.

From his humble beginnings at City College of Angeles to his international accomplishments, Aries R. Galang exemplifies the excellence, leadership, and heart of every Angeleño graduate—a true inspiration to educators and Filipinos around the world.
