Clark hosts first large-scale Medical Disaster Simulation

Clark Freeport made history as the Philippine Medical Association (PMA), in partnership with A-PAD Philippines and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), staged the country’s first large-scale, medically focused disaster simulation.

Dubbed “Frontline: Tripartite Medical Simulation Drill for Disaster Risk Mitigation 2025,” the two-day event tested emergency medical teams’ response to a simulated 7.4-magnitude earthquake. It highlighted the importance of coordination, logistics, and sustainability in disaster response.

“This is about working together — no one team can do it alone,” said PMA President Hector Santos.

The simulation integrated global best practices from Japan, Myanmar, and Turkey, aiming not just to train responders but to shape future disaster policies. Clark’s modern infrastructure and strategic location made it the ideal setting.

Organizers hope to replicate the simulation across the country to strengthen national disaster preparedness. 🇵🇭
