Leading fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to developing homegrown tech talent and supporting local innovation in the country’s growing digital landscape.
During the inauguration of Universal Access and Systems Solutions Inc. (UAS)’s new office in Pasig City, Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy emphasized the importance of investing in Filipino talent. UAS is a Pampanga-grown systems integration company now expanding its reach in the metro.
“We Filipinos have the talent, the drive, and the creativity to lead digital transformation globally. But first, we must uplift and empower our local innovators. That’s a shared vision between Converge and UAS,” Uy said in his speech as Guest of Honor.
Uy stressed that while progress takes time, collaboration and belief in Filipino capability can pave the way for global competitiveness. Converge continues to bring in skilled engineers and developers while prioritizing ongoing employee development.
UAS CEO Christopher Victorino echoed the sentiment, saying, “This expansion is a major step toward our goals—not just for UAS, but for Filipino tech professionals. We’re aligned with Converge in pushing for local innovation and talent growth.”
Now transitioning from a telco to a full-fledged technology company, Converge is expanding its ICT offerings to meet the needs of enterprises seeking more than just connectivity.
Founded in 2005, UAS is a multi-awarded systems integrator specializing in IT infrastructure, software, managed services, and more. It is known for delivering industry-leading enterprise solutions.
Further showing support for young tech talent, Converge recently participated in HackFest 2025: Horizon, hosted by the Google Developer Student Clubs Loyola at Ateneo de Manila University.
