Jehovah’s Witnesses are once again inviting the public to their annual global convention series, with this year’s theme, Pure Worship!. The three-day event, free and open to all, will be held at the SMX Convention Center – Clark over three consecutive weekends beginning May 30 to June 1.
As one of the largest non-profit convention organizers in the world, Jehovah’s Witnesses are expected to draw more than 9,500 visitors, providing a boost to local hotels, restaurants, and transport services.
“This year’s program centers on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ,” said Jehovah’s Witnesses spokesman James Morales. “Attendees will explore how Jesus resisted temptation, his first miracle, and the power of his compassion and love.”
Highlights of the event include:
- Bible-based talks and interviews
- Episode 2 of The Good News According to Jesus, an 18-part video series
- A baptism ceremony for new members on Saturday
- Key discourses such as “Do You Worship What You Know?” and “What Does Jesus See in You?”
In 2024, over 11 million people attended more than 6,000 conventions organized by Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide.
