Angeles City crowned a new queen as Allyson Hetland of Barangay Pandan emerged victorious as Mutya Ning Angeles 2024. Hetland won the coveted title along with an impressive prize package worth ₱2 million in cash and prizes, courtesy of the Angeles City Government and Beautéderm Corporation.
Her grand prize included ₱1.5 million in cash from the city government, ₱150,000 cash from Beautéderm, and ₱350,000 worth of BeautéHaus services and Beautéderm products.
The runners-up also shone bright, with Arielle Maritoni of Barangay San Jose as 1st Runner-Up, followed by Shauntal Claudio of Barangay Margot as 2nd Runner-Up, Eingel Lumbang of Barangay Sapangbato as 3rd Runner-Up, and Angel Subalisid of Barangay Mining as 4th Runner-Up. They received cash prizes of ₱200,000, ₱150,000, ₱100,000, and ₱75,000, respectively.
The grand coronation, held at the Grand Palazzo Royale on November 28, was a dazzling showcase of beauty and grace. Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the celebration alongside First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, Beautéderm President and CEO Rei Anicoche-Tan, and other distinguished guests, officials, and sponsors.
“For four years, we’ve worked to make Mutya Ning Angeles the grandest pageant yet,” Mayor Lazatin said. He credited the unwavering dedication of the MNA Working Committee, led by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, for surpassing expectations each year. Lazatin also highlighted the vital support of Beautéderm Corporation, which has partnered with the city in elevating the pageant to new heights.
The success of MNA 2024 was a collaborative effort, with contributions from key figures like City Tourism Office Head Anneleen Antonio-Sugui and Economic Development Head Irish Bonus-Llego, along with numerous support staff and city offices, including the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Angeles City Police, and City Information Office.
