In an official statement released Wednesday, October 1, the company said all its Cebu stores have undergone safety inspections. McDonaldโs Bogo sustained major damage and remains closed, while four other branchesโJY Square, North Reclamation, Carcar, and Jonesโwere temporarily closed due to minor repairs and limited staff availability.
As of 1:00 p.m., McDonaldโs confirmed that JY Square, North Reclamation, and Jones branches have reopened, while all other stores in Cebu continue to operate normally. The Il Corso store also resumed operations after checks, contrary to initial reports that it was damaged.
