A state-of-the-art and fully equipped public hospital is set to open in the latter part of 2025.

The Pampanga Provincial Hospital–Clark is being built to provide affordable and accessible medical services to Kapampangans — including over 100,000 workers within the Clark Freeport Zone — and nearby provinces.

Governor-elect Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez, and CDC President Agnes Devanadera led the inspection of the hospital.

The facility will have a total capacity of 143 beds, including 17 private rooms, 16 semi-private rooms, and 110 ward beds. It will offer complete clinical services, diagnostics, ancillary procedures, and full support and administrative operations.

Authorities confirmed that the hospital is a result of a partnership between the Provincial Government of Pampanga, the Department of Health (DOH), the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), and the Clark Development Corporation (CDC).

Construction costs totaled ₱465 million — with ₱100 million funded by the DOH, ₱160 million by PAGCOR, and ₱205 million by the provincial government. An additional ₱158 million will be allocated by the Capitol for the purchase of initial medical equipment.

This will be the first public hospital within the Clark Freeport Zone and is expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2025.

Also present during the inspection were Board Member Ananias Canlas Jr., Provincial Health Officer Dax Tidula, PG-ENRO Chief Engr. Arthur Punsalan, Provincial Engineering Officer Engr. Noli Pangan, and PPDO Chief Jericho Tapang.
