The local government of Tarlac City expressed its heartfelt gratitude to search and rescue frontliners who successfully saved two residents, Jansen and Kevin, swept away by strong waves in Sitio Pangulo, Carangian on September 3.
Mayor Susan Yap led the recognition of the Tarlac City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police, Coast Guard, barangay officials, Public Order and Safety Office (POSO), Provincial Engineering and Planning Office (PEPO), and numerous volunteers for their selfless service and unwavering dedication. Tarlac Governor Christian Yap was also present.















“You are true exemplars of compassion and public service,” Mayor Susay Yap said in a Facebook post, commending the rescuers for their commitment to the safety and welfare of the community.
