BM WIN-WIN LEADS ‘ALAGANG NANAY’ IN DAU

Pampanga First District Board Member Krizzanel “Win-Win” Garbo led the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare” program in Barangay Dau.

Garbo, a former 3-termer city councilor, and currently the chairperson of the Committee on Health in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, announced that the program is a comprehensive wellness care initiative that provides medical consultation, basic laboratory services, and free medicines to constituents who are in need.

The Alagang Nanay program is part of the efforts of the Office of Special Adviser of Flagship Programs for Health (OSAFPH) headed by Dr. Jose Antonio Rivera to ensure that healthcare services are accessible to everyone, especially those in underserved areas. The program was launched in Barangay Dau, and around 360 beneficiaries underwent the process of biometrics, blood extraction, and receiving of the ‘MCG Cares’ card.

The MCG Cares card is a valuable tool in providing healthcare services to the Mabalaquenians. It contains important information about their medical history, which can be used by healthcare professionals to provide effective treatment. The card also allows beneficiaries to avail themselves of free medicines and other healthcare services, and it also combines the benefit of having a vaccination status card.

Board Member Garbo expressed her gratitude to the OSAFPH for its efforts in bringing the Alagang Nanay program to Barangay Dau. She added that the program is a significant step towards achieving the goal of providing quality healthcare services to her kabalens in Pampanga.

The Alagang Nanay program is just one of the many initiatives being undertaken by the Pampanga government to improve the healthcare system in the province. Board Member Garbo and her team are committed to ensuring that every resident of Pampanga has access to quality healthcare services, regardless of their economic status or location.

The success of the Alagang Nanay program in Barangay Dau serves as a model for other communities in Pampanga. The program’s comprehensive approach to healthcare services has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of the residents of the province. Board Member Garbo and her team are determined to continue their efforts to improve the healthcare system and provide better services to the people of Pampanga. (Mabalacat City News)
