Bacolod is raising its glasses once again as it celebrates the 5th Tanduay Bacolod Rum Festival from August 28 to 31, coinciding with the global observance of Rum Month.
Launched in 2019 through the partnership of Tanduay Distillers Inc. and the City of Bacolod, the festival has become one of the cityโs most anticipated cultural highlights, blending heritage, artistry, and world-class rum-making.



Honoring Bacolodโs Rum and Sugarcane Legacy
The festival pays tribute to Bacolodโs deep-rooted sugarcane and rum heritage, which has shaped its economy and celebrations for generations.
โThis is not just Bacolodโs pride, itโs the pride of the nation,โ said Mayor Greg Gasataya, highlighting rum as a symbol of Filipino craftsmanship and identity.



โIlabas ang Natatagong Galingโ
With the theme โIlabas ang Natatagong Galingโ, the festival showcases the hidden talents of Bacolodnons and Filipinos โ from music and dance to culinary arts and mixology โ while also educating visitors on rum-making and its role in Philippine cocktail culture.
