Now on its fourth year, NLEX Corporationโs ๐๐ข๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ซ๐จ ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง continues to drive change where it matters mostโon the road. Held from July 3 to 5, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, this yearโs caravan gathered over 300 drivers, transport operators, and mechanics in partnership with the Philippine Commercial Vehicle Show, reinforcing NLEXโs commitment to safer roads for all.
โThis isnโt just an eventโitโs a life-saving movement,โ said Luis S. Reรฑon, Officer-In-Charge of NLEX Corporation. โWeโre building a culture of proactive safety and smarter driving across the transport industry.โ

As part of NLEXโs broader โMission Road Safetyโ advocacy, the three-day caravan united key players from over a dozen transport groupsโincluding CTAP, INHTA, HATAW, ALTODAP, ACTO, and moreโoffering hands-on training on accident prevention, vehicle compliance, and emergency response.
Participants heard from national transport leaders like DOTr Director Joshua Joseph Rodriguez, who emphasized calling road incidents โcrashesโ instead of โaccidents,โ to underscore that most are preventable. LTO Asec. Greg Pua Jr. detailed legal requirements such as helmet use and child car seats, while Shellโs Edward Tan and AC-1โs Dawny Rubillo led discussions on safe cargo handling and journey risk management.
The caravan also featured interactive learning tools, including a driving simulator and drunk goggles, helping participants experience the risks of impaired driving in a controlled setting.
NLEXโs own Safety and Patrol Team, led by Dave Bautista, Eric Cruz, and Maike Lacson, tackled driver preparedness and emergency response along tollways.
โThanks to NLEX and its partners, our drivers are more equipped to protect themselves, their passengers, and the communities they serve,โ said INHTA President Teddy Gervacio.
At a time when road crashes remain a pressing concern, BiyaHero continues to push the boundaries of road safety educationโempowering every Filipino driver to be โmay alam at laging handa.โ
