Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, has been named one of Asia’s Best Companies in the 2025 FinanceAsia Awards, securing Silver in the Transportation category. CEB stands out as the only Philippine airline and one of just four carriers across Asia recognized by the prominent regional financial publication.

The annual FinanceAsia Awards highlight companies that demonstrate excellence in corporate governance, investor relations, and overall financial performance—areas where Cebu Pacific has consistently delivered strong results.

“Our leadership in Philippine aviation is built on thoughtful decisions, financial discipline, and resilient operations,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer. “This award affirms our long-term commitment to responsible growth and customer-focused service.”

The recognition comes as Cebu Pacific accelerates its strategic expansion. In 2024, the airline signed a historic agreement with Airbus for up to 152 A321neo aircraft—the largest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history. It also launched 28 new routes (19 domestic and 9 international), connecting more travelers to emerging destinations such as Chiang Mai, Kaohsiung, and Sapporo.

Cebu Pacific is also building its regional presence with new hubs in Davao and Iloilo, complementing its main operations in Manila, Cebu, and Clark.

Further strengthening its global ties, CEB recently signed an MoU with flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing low-cost carrier. Under the agreement, CEB will wet-lease two A320s to flyadeal for Saudi’s summer peak, with plans for a reciprocal arrangement during Southeast Asia’s winter surge.

These bold moves are aligned with the airline’s target of flying 30 million passengers in 2025, powered by a growing network and modernized fleet.

As of today, Cebu Pacific operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations, covering key cities in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East—bringing more Filipinos and travelers closer to where they need to be, affordably and reliably.
